02Practice

Six areas of law, one standard of care.

We advise companies and private clients across the matters below — and tell you plainly when something falls outside what we do well.

Corporate

Formation, governance, financing and transactions for companies at every stage.

Litigation

Commercial disputes from pre-action negotiation through trial and appeal.

Employment

Executive agreements, workplace policy, and the disputes that follow both.

Real Estate

Acquisitions, leasing, development and title matters for commercial property.

Private Client

Succession, trusts and estate administration handled with discretion.

Family

Separation, custody and settlement work, resolved quietly wherever possible.

03Approach

Every matter begins with understanding.

We assess the risk, map the options and build a strategy aligned to your goals — before a single document is drafted.

05Process

How a matter runs.

Five stages, the same every time, so you always know where things stand.

  1. 01

    Instruct

We confirm scope, agree the fee basis in writing, and gather the essentials.

  2. 02

    Assess

We analyse your circumstances, test the exposure, and set out the options.

  3. 03

    Prepare

We build the strategy and the supporting record before anything is filed.

  4. 04

    Advocate

We lodge, negotiate and appear — and keep you informed at every turn.

  5. 05

    Resolve

We close the matter cleanly and hand over everything you need to move on.

06Questions

Answered plainly.

The things clients ask before they instruct us.

Still unsure whether we are the right fit? Send us a note and we will tell you honestly.

We act for companies and individuals across corporate, commercial litigation, employment, real estate, private client and family matters. If a matter falls outside our practice, we will say so at the first call and point you somewhere better suited.

Most matters run on a fixed fee agreed before work begins. Where the scope genuinely cannot be known in advance, we work to an hourly rate with a capped estimate and tell you before we approach it.

Transactional work typically completes in two to eight weeks. Contested matters depend on the other side and the court's calendar; we give you a realistic range after the initial assessment rather than an optimistic one at the outset.

Yes. Roughly two thirds of our work is for companies — from first-round startups to established groups — and the balance is private clients, often the founders and executives of those same companies.

You get a named partner and their direct line, not a call centre. We confirm every substantive conversation in writing and send a short status note at agreed intervals so nothing goes quiet.

07Inquiry

Tell us about your matter.

A partner reviews every inquiry personally and responds within one business day.

Submitting an inquiry does not create a solicitor–client relationship.
